The Hume Center offers opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to conduct research with us in our three labs, the Aerospace Systems Lab, the Electronic Systems Lab, and the Information Systems Lab.

Graduate Research Opportunities

The Hume Center accepts graduate students as research assistants in the Aerospace Systems Lab, the Electronic Systems Lab, and the Information Systems Lab. Students interested in researching with the Hume Center should submit a research interest form here.

Undergraduate Research Opportunities

Undergraduate students interested in conducting research with the Hume Center can join us at three different levels: paid, for credit, or as a volunteer. Students interested in researching with the Hume Center can submit a research interest form here.

Capstone/Major Design Experience

The Hume Center can help students create a capstone or major design experience project to fulfill degree requirements. If you are interested in working with the Hume Center to complete your capstone or major design experience, please contact Russ Walker at rswalker@vt.edu.
